Thomas Crown

As I write this blog post it dawns on me today that over the last 12 calendar months I have had 26 daygame lays. The overwhelming majority of these are prime-aged and highly desirable women. Some of the guys I have worked with have witnessed the sets, many have seen pictures of the girls and been impressed at the quality. John Bodi once remarked that one of the girls I was dating was a clear 10 and that no-one he knew, past or present, had been involved with girls of this standard. Two students have seen me approach girls that they pegged as 9s, both of which ended as an SDL. I am not saying this common or systematically repeatable, but it does illustrate that I at least Walk the Talk. I am well-known in the daygame community as someone who does not bullshit on numbers or quality and I always encourage my students before signing on with me to reach out to other guys in the community, or to speak with my students directly before they work with me, and to never rely on “online testimonials’.

I can state with some confidence that Thomas Crown offers no such assurances to his students. Not only has he failed to demonstrate a capability to seduce girls in the elite-tier of beauty and desirability, but he goes way further than this and broadcasts mediocrity as a demonstration of a successful process. I have called him out on this before: contextualising his “success” as a man in his 20s, pulling older women, Chinese women or freakishly tall 6 foot + women. Or just tip-rats in his age-cohort (read his lay reports for yourself). Essentially, bog-standard girls he could match with on Tinder. This is not, and never will be, a demonstration of success with the elite tier.

A “highlight reel” that is almost entirely composed of a plethora of ‘7s’ does not in any shape, way or form demonstrate a skill-set that I give two-fucks about when you pontificate that you’re a handsome ‘male 7’. Instead, this more accurately a like-for-like transaction in an equitable marketplace. It is the definition of normal value exchange. It is normal, boring and unremarkable. Taken on its own and presented with no bells and whistles I would respect it.

In both of the scenarios outlined above he would generate no criticism from me if he was just a regular daygamer charting his development and journey online, logging his story and sharing it with the world. But he is not just a daygamer. He positions himself as a significant figure in the daygame community; he promotes his authority and proclaims expertise, and more than this, he charges men for his tuition. Recently, he shilled a guy in Warsaw who was, by Thomas Crown’s admission, looking to date and have sex with ‘more 8s instead of the 7s he had become accustomed to‘. The first question he should have asked Thomas Crown is: show me your body of work that illustrates to me your success with 8s before I purchase your service. Or put me in touch with people who can vouch for your ability to date women in the elite tier. He probably didn’t and I would also wager that Thomas Crown has never pulled an 8 in his life. The reality is that we have a coaching client who bought into hype and confusingly ignored the elephant in the room that Thomas Crown has more fucking book reviews and spammy/re-heated (we will come to this) Red Pill shite than demonstrated success in the elite tier of females.

Sadly, many men have fell to the ruse and will continue to fall for this shysters trick of peddling quantity over quantity while bait-and-switching via the methodology of assumed expertise, evidenced by his tortuous expositions of inner-game theory and other gimmicks designed to appeal to introverted, techie-types who make the predictable mistake (appealing though the carrot is) that pulling girls is a learnable, rote system akin to their programming expertise.

Do we see Thomas Crown producing a significant body of work and demonstration of technique? No. Instead, his Twitter feed almost entirely consists of fucking book reviews and distorted inner-game mind-wanks and obfuscation – the very things that hold so many men back because it clouds their instinctive judgement and replaces it with a prevarication strategy, obtuse terminology and expert-system cope.

The ongoing regurgitation of outdated tropes like ‘daygame season’ (first coined by Krauser) was more a function of Krausers’ desire to unwind in the UK after several months overseas over any judgement about daygame being impractical or unfruitful over the winter months. But we have seen Thomas Crown twist this into another spergy behavioural choice despite the fact that I have probably had more DG +1s over the last two winters than he has had in the last two years combined. Daygame season? Fucking grow up. Girls are horny all year round.

I have had a few guys reach out to me and the general tone is the same: a guy in his 20s shilling his notch count with lower SMV/normal SMV (at best) as indication that he is punching above his weight. It is not even disingenuous. It is plainly dishonest. Fraudulent.

I wouldn’t have any problems with him at all if he was just a humble daygame coach teaching students while admitting to sleeping with women that are simply not in high demand. I’ve seen his gf and in a way I cant judge a guy for not aiming high in a competitive place like London but he should be more transparent and truthful. Instead he uses high notch count as a selling point to attract more gullible fools to pay for his snake oil. More cope and emotional manipulation for why he bangs mostly plain janes. 

Do you think a guy aiming low should be charging for this stuff? what exactly is he teaching that cant be learnt from a textbook? Anyone competing for attractive girls will simply not listen to him/or follow his crap. I’ve noticed he cuts people off who disagree with him. Pathetic really.

It was only two years ago that we had to put up with a rash of Thomas Crown’s dull, verbose and incoherent mind-wanks on ‘inner-game’, or his regurgitation of ideas first positioned by Krauser but disingenuously warped and padded out through baroque writing to be presented as his own creations. He came dangerously close to being called out by Krauser on this. Go back over Thomas Crown’s blog posts (if you can stomach the writing style) and you will see how much more he started to reference Krauser to avoid the plagiarism. It happened in early 2020.

So we have the fraud and the plagiarist. A guy who has regurgitated Tom Torero’s Street Hustle into a coaching paradigm underpinned by a body of work that is, well, middling, unremarkable and below any skill-set of a man who sees himself as worthy of charging for a paid service. I state again, if he was a regular daygamer with this body of work I would not be criticising him. I am criticising him for repackaging his mediocrity, plagiarising established ideas and other peoples content. I am criticising him for presenting the image that he can engineer repeat success with high-value, elite-tier woman when the reality falls well short of this.

Recently, Thomas Crown wrote another book on how to text girls.

It was almost 40,000 words long.

Bearing in mind that the average word count for a UK PhD is 80,000 and would include things like Acknowledgments, Table of Contents, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusions and Bibliography. A PhD would cover the rich background of previous research (in some cases spanning decades) while spelling out in significant detail the fresh contribution that the thesis makes to the field. This reflects his mindset, and mirrors his stratagem that,

The humour (at his expense) and embarrassment was lost on him when a customer (after having read his garbage) followed up with a series of questions (flaws and contradictions I have been reliably told) about the content in said book. This lead to Thomas Crown having to update parts of the book. Now imagine a first year undergraduate opening the text book on Quantum Physics on his first day at university that was coincidently authored by lecturer standing in front of him in class. Now imagine the Professor’s acute embarrassment and shame, when this first year undergraduate tear strips out of the writing, method, logic and conclusions in this book. The undergraduate student could be forgiven for asking,

“what the fuck have I paid all this money for when the book is so shit that even me, an intellectual novice, can pull apart the logic so easily?”

But it doesn’t end there. By the age of 29 the homeless and jobless Thomas Crown had also authored two other kitsch, adolescent-themed books soused in juvenile skull-themed graphics. Fucking crass. How many times do we need to see this AMMA LUVA NOT A PROVIDA nonsense played out to newbies and acolytes in order to shill the brand. This is a 29 year old child, who has never lived with a woman, never taken important fiscal or relationship decisions with a woman, managed day-to-day lifestyle decisions (car insurance [he can’t drive], home contents insurance or paying for his own internet access). And despite having zero meaningful life experience, he has positioned himself as an expert on men’s dating who has phleghmed-up two books which represent nothing more than a shyster strategy to regurgitate daygame material that was bullseyed by Nick Krauser in Nitro (no need to reinvent his wheel), or to “flesh out” the already verbally padded lay reports freely available on his blog. It’s intellectually and creatively dishonest. He’s the equivalent of a retarded GCSE Maths student who can’t do algebra, but insists on lecturing the professor, all the same. It’s hubris and insecurity at the heart of it all. A desperate need to fit in, be admired and respected. It comes from a place of low self-worth.

Last Spring, both Roy Walker, a man I respect, were walking around Warsaw. At the time he said he said I was probably the best daygamer in the world. I didn’t agree with him. But what we did agree on is the observation that perhaps the very best daygamers have the following in common: that they got into daygame relatively later (30s) and that they had lived an interesting life, had been to places and met a range of people. That they had saw a bit of what makes people different and how the world works.

Thomas Crown, has done none of these things. He probably has less overseas time in the last 5 years than I have in the past 5 months. He’s provincial both in his life and his aspirations and this is reflected by his results and the quality of the women he ends up with. But I do have one interesting story I learned when he was in Warsaw last year. A friend of mine had invited Thomas Crown out for a drink. My friend was with a Ukranian girl he was dating. He went to the bar to get drinks (there was a bit of a wait as it was busy). He watched Thomas Crown get up and try it on with his bird. Crown sat there “running” The Cube and Strawberry Fields as he tried to hit on this girl. I mean if this isn’t a demonstration of pure shithousery I don’t know what is. Thomas Crown – the Player-Innovater – translated – hitting on another man’s girl via……. Mystery Method. The dichotomy between his online persona, and the real him exposed for what it is. Crown even had the balls to post a tweet the next day slamming these Americans as pure wankers. LOL.

He makes much of the fact that he has a girlfriend (and I use this term in the loosest possible sense) on his Twitter as a way to develop the idea that he is a high-value man who can have his cake and eat it. Despite the nonsense aspirational lifestyle pushed by the Tate Brothers this facile, baller lifestyle is invariably comprised of whores and pay-for-play. Thomas Crown is not this, and nor is he pretending to be. The ideas are connected, however. I wrote recently about this very idea – touching on the theme of would a self-respecting high-value woman allow her boyfriend to fuck around on her, but demand sexual fidelity on her part. I spoke to several women about this and the feedback followed some predictable themes: low-value, insecurity, impressionable and naive on the part of the woman, and insecure, immature, controlling and coercive on the part of the man. It is easy to go after the sitting duck wastrels of the PUA sphere: the John Anthony’s, Deepak Wayne, Bradicus and a host of others or comment on anyone posting the reality of daygame and bitching at “how shit” their sets are on YouTube. But sometimes Charlatans are hiding in plain site: establishing cohorts of acolyte beginners and intermediates who fail to see the wood for the trees.

Getting older is both a blessing in some respects but mainly a hindrance in others. In the latter sense we see the Sun setting on our SMV and our ability to attract high-tier women. We have to work bloody hard and we have a lot to offer precisely because of the experience we have gained. But it is possible, as I and others have shown.

But getting older also allows us to utilise our life experience and spot a twat.
